Grafix Signs are offering a highly effective Antimicrobial film product that protects staff and customers against the transmission of Covid-19 germs. The Antimicrobial coating can be applied to any high contact areas such as push plates and door handles. It is certified to ISO 22196 and 21702.

The transparent, self-adhesive Antimicrobial film uses Silver Ion technology and kills 99.9% of bacteria and microbes and is highly effective against viruses^. The protective film can be applied to many high touch surfaces for example on door handles, push plates, computer screens, ATM’s, tables, and other flat surfaces. It provides 24/7 protection and is water and oil proof, meaning it can be used on both indoor and outdoor surfaces. The film has been independently tested and is quick to fit and the covers are also recyclable.

Nick Ormiston, MD at Grafix Signs commented “As businesses, shops and the hospitality industry start to re-open, we have been looking at ways that our industry can help prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus. Keeping employees, visitors, and customers safe is a key priority for businesses and the Antimicrobial film is a product that can be applied to many surfaces to stop the spread of germs, providing up to 12 months protection. Although the technology is not new, pre-pandemic this type of product was largely found in surgical environments and areas where hygiene standards were critical, however the pandemic has dictated that every touch point is now hygiene critical.”

* An antimicrobial is an agent that kills microorganisms or stops their growth. The Silver technology targets microorganisms that kill or reduce the spread of bacteria, fungi and certain viruses. It works by breaking down their biological make-up in order to stop the spread and reproduction of dangerous pathogens, thus killing up to 99.99% of common bacteria and superbugs as well as being effective against Coronavirus.
